I think everyone has had some sort of idea for the Skip Ad button on YouTube, but here’s a live one for a government environmental care agency in Chile (by MayoDraftfcb) showcasing a range of environmental messages that challenge you to either skip the ad or skip the behaviour. In just one week, over 80,000 people chose to change their behaviour over skipping the ad… Thoughts?
I feel this is a really innovative and cool idea. But what does it cost to get something like this done with Youtube? Or is it Pro Bono from google?
Will greatly help if people can share thoughts on this.

HI Ramanan, is just like any pre roll ad (wich you have to pay like any google banner) but in the video itself you put an image simulating that ‘new button’.
Hi Ramanan, this is a paid campaign for our client Homecenter Sodimac. There’s not any kind of agreement with Google. We pay for the space (pre roll). The cost? Pay per view (or click).
