Craigo, seeing you missed your Spanish lessons this year, I thought i’d post this very cool Augmented Reality iPhone app just for you! It’s called Word Lens, and it uses the iPhone’s camera, along with optical character recognition to translate anything from Spanish into English on the fly, just by pointing the iPhone at the printed words (signs .etc).
Not only will it just do that, it even tries to match the font style while blocking out the original letters so that the translation is as clear (and real) as possible. You can download the app for free, and install a language pack for just $4.99… not bad. Click here to download the app.
