Have you ever been annoyed by having to click the “refresh” button to see the latest tweets come through? I have, plenty of times, but when you stop to think about it, there is pretty good reason why! Check out the “live” stream on Tweetmeme and you’ll know why every single twitter app makes you click the refresh button to get your content, and then you’ll be thanking them forever!
Pretty dam cool to watch the live stream though, how many could you actually read? I wonder how closely Google is watching, waiting and learning? Check out the Tweetmeme Live Twitter Stream.

Holy crap! It’s a nightmare. Still, hitting the refresh button is still a pain. There must be a happy medium.

Haha, and that’s just the “tweetmeme” stream, not even the “real” twitter stream which would be 100x faster!

I would rather have that than have to refresh – it’s easier to press pause and then just press play when you want the new ones. If there wasn’t a pause button though it would be impossible to read anything!
