Perhaps the new Volvo has so much hidden technology or maybe because the they just wanted to create some extra buzz at the show, either way, the Volvo X-Ray App that was released at the Geneva Auto Show is a pretty cool way for potential customers to look under the skin of the new Volvo V40, complete with a 360-degree feature experience available for iOS devices.

Its using image tracking to fake the Augmented Reality X-Ray but does a good enough job of keeping it synced to deliver the experience. The app is also laced with demo videos of the latest Volvo tech that can be activated when scanning various parts of the car. I like it as a Motor Show party trick… At Home / In dealerships? Probably not. What do you guys think? Via PSFK.
