Martina from Adverblog posted this fantastic site called “Visit The Other Britain” that was created by Ogilvyone Worldwide Singapore to help create more tourists of a different calibre than what you’d might think England attracts with the Queen, Cups of Tea, Madame Taussauds and even fish & chips! Now, Visit The Other Britain is a seriously good online experience for anyone interested in making the trip to a place where it rains every day, their cricketersare hopeless, everything is old… ok you get my picture! But, spend 15mins on this site, and you’ll get a completely unique understanding of what your really in for complete with a great sense of humour and some beautiful art direction! Click here to view the website, enjoy!
Sick website. Met some visitbritan digital talent recently. They have just taken up a digital strategy role here in Sydney too.
Honest, ground-breaking and very engaging. This is sure to appeal to visitors in the 16-35 bracket.
I love it! This is really cool. A fun website and a great design! It really deserves the name “experience”!! Thanks for the recommendation…
Hi there,
Please don’t think I’m writing this here th be spammy- I’ve tried using the contact form and I just can’t get the Captcha to play ball, no matter how many times I download the plugin. Really love the blog which has turned me on to some serious gems in the past. I’ve dragged myself away from the fish and chip map on ‘Visit the other Britain’ to send you a quick message about a website I’ve been involved in putting together and I thought you and your audience might be interested in. It’s called Wisteria Formations (http://www.wisteriaformations.co.uk/) and it allows you to set up a limited company in 10 steps online, all in one place. It also features a talking giraffe who guides users through each step of the formation process. It makes setting up a company legally a lot easier and by the end of the process, users will have all the documentation required to start trading.
Hope it’s of interest to you,
Kristina
Great website. Very engaging and reinforces my belief that “Content the King” maybe making a royal comeback.
Err… is this a joke? I can live with the bloatware but I went to the sports page and happened to click on wimbledon link and rather than go to the official page it went to one far worse. If you’re only as good as your weakest link, then this site’s rubbish.
