Wikipedia is celebrating its 10th birthday, and the start of its second decade, so Jess3 (famous for some of the worlds best infographics) have created a video infographic, showcasing where Wikipedia came from, and where it’s heading in 2011, complete with naration from one of the co-founders, Jimmy Wales.

At last count, Wikipedia has over 17 million articles, in 270 languages, recieving over 400 million visitors per month, making it one of the most important websites in the world. Wikipedia has 1.2 million editors, who edit over 11 million articles per month, across every language!
