uquery the app store search engine
How do you find your iPhone Apps? Until recently I used iTunes like everyone else, but with over 70,000 apps (72,292 at time of posting this!) the ridiculously slow and clumsy iTunes application engine makes finding good apps time consuming to say the least. This week uQuery launched as a new app store search engine that brings speed and simplicity to finding the right app. It refines the search by price range, release date, and category but really needs a second tier of refinement (top rated, most comments, most downloads .etc) to make it stand out. I’m sure as more of these pop-up the feature set will increase in pretty quickly! Click here to check out the site.

Awesome! I just can’t believe it took someone this long to create an App store search engine. Now we just need an iTunes search engine.
