Back in October 2009 I posted an article on Volkswagen’s brave move to launch an iPhone only campaign to promote their new GTI. Seems the risky move has paid off, with over 4 million downloads of the app, and an 80% increase in leads, test drives and quote requests.
Its great to see a digital campaign like this succeed beyond most people expectations. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of this in the future. Watch the stats video on AKQA’s facebook page.
