I Love this new website from GE. It’s called The Smart Grid, and GE is inviting people to come and Plug Into The Smart Grid to start saving the earth & money, by using their new eco-friendly technology. The site, by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (and North Kingdom) is simply the best I’ve seen this year (so far!), beautifully rendered in 3D, well appointed voice over and a really well balanced level of interactivity. PLUS it has a very cool Augmented reality feature, where users can literally have the website jump into their hands by watching a new eco-friendly wind or solar plant unfold into a 3D hologram onscreen via their web-cam, kind of like a Pop-Up Book… Check out the website here, but first I really want you to
