For the launch campaign of Splinter Cell Conviction, Ubisoft combined with Layar, utilising their latest technology to create a mobile augmented reality challenge to help launch the new game. The video above is the campaign case study showing how they aimed to create a buzz around the games launch, with the aim to do something never done before. They used a combination of microsites, banner campaigns and seeding in attempting to recruit as many players as possible, to take part in the Augmented Reality Game. Check out the game site here.
