Erik Qualman from Socialnomics has just released Social Media Revolution 2, a refresh based on his original video from 2009 that had about 2 million views on YouTube and was a must watch video with some amazing statistics. For 2010, he has updated the video with the latest stats, figures and information on everything social, along with upgrading some of the graphics and a few animation elements. Unfortunately, it still has the same soundtrack! Enjoy the video.

      Hey Aden,

I distributed a socialnomics look-alike a couple of weeks ago. It’s a little more facebook centered and maybe interesting for your followers as well. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZoQOH2aLQI

Buy the way, I really love your blog – it’s always filled with inspiring storys. Chapeau!

      Take care, Thomas

Great production…great facts and figures with an articulate case for social media longetivity

Great info. But Eric, please stop using this song. How can you underscore a Brave New World using a song that is not only years old, but probably the most overused in traditional media?

    5. Jay Morgan Says:

I love this revision to the already great socialnomics V.1 video but can Erik please include sources in his videos!
And, as previous comments mentioned, can he please replace the audio track, this ‘brave new world’ isn’t supposed to be scary, it’s supposed to be inspiring. This track ends up making it feel too scary, too insurmountable and ultimately out of reach.
But it’s not scary, it’s not insurmountable and it’s not out of reach. It’s easy, it’s natural and it’s available to everyone right now.
