Skoda: Interactive Boot TVC Case Study

I really love the concept around this ad, along with the smart media buy and a seemingly perfect execution to top it off (I just wonder if it was really that smooth?). It’s the new Skoda Superb Estate ad featuring their remote boot feature, something that is kind of bland to showcase in an ad of almost any type, but when you take an interactive idea and work it into a TV ad, you can get something that’s pretty cool.

Skoda created an interactive TVC where they bought ads across two channels simultaneously showing the car with the boot open and the boot closed, so when the ad prompted you to switch channels to open / close the remote boot, you felt like you were actually in control of the ad.
