I think there was a Kickstarter project a little while back that wanted to create an iPhone controlled lighting system. Well, it looks like Phillips beat them to commercializing it. Introducing ‘Hue’ the world’s most advanced lighting system, where each bulb lasts 15 years, has 11 LEDs that can generate 16 million hues per bulb, all powered by an iPhone/iPad app that allows you to take complete control over each bulb, making these some seriously cool connected objects!
Set timers, moods and colours remotely, have them synced with other lights or stand alone… The App and light packages will be sold exclusively at Apple Stores and starts at $199! I want a set!!

Now they are pretty cool but I imagine it would cost a small fortune to get your house done out in those. They do look amazing though.
