Orange is releasing the new Motorola DEXT – a smart social phone – so what better way to hype the launch than a socially integrated campaign in the form of the “Friend-o-Meter” app (created by Fallon and Unit9). The market for this phone is social freaks, and this app puts their cred to the test, publishing results straight back into their favorite social network.
This is one of the only social apps I’ve seen that integrates with more than one network, infact, the Orange Friend-o-Meter syncs with Facebook, Twitter and even the forgotten MySpace which is pretty unusual. It pulls some pretty detailed content out and turns them into some great quiz questions.
