You’ve probably seen an ad like this before… Say, the AXA Interactive Print Ad from late last year. Combining motion and sound with the background of a great print ad is still pretty rarely seen, but again, here is a great example of it working a treat, created by our friends at AlmapBBDO in Brazil.
It’s a simple combination that delivers a great experience for readers. Sure, it’s not completely seamless, but it’s adding another dimension for an audience that actually wants to interact with the brand or product. It’s also a great way to measure the performance of the ad. What do you think?

Pretty cool, I think its great. The target group I believe wants something like that. Now I would go further and say that this may be a big chance for fashion and beauty magazines to enhance their make-up / make over articels.

Hey Christian, couldn’t agree more
It’s a great fit, they have the content and this provides a unique way to blend digital with magazines and at the same time, probably promoting their digital content…

Aye exactly! Thinking of Gaming or PC/Hardware magazines, they could also use interactives advertising like that, I’m really in love with this Offline & Online combination!

I love this!
And I’m curious about the implementation – how do you get the video started? I.e. do you first have to go on their website to start the video or is there some kind of code embedded in the picture?

Hello Everyone!
I want to echo the sentiments that everyone has voiced in saying that this is a great way of interacting with the client and bringing to life an otherwise life-less print ad. Does anyone know about the specifics of how this can be implemented? If you do, please respond on here and let me know!
Thanks,
Alan
