Behold. The Nike World Cup Campaign is here. They’ve been releasing those funny little teaser videos through YouTube over the last two weeks and with the release of this 3 minute film today, they officially kickoff a campaign that will ultimately see fans around the world write their own future though a unique experience on NikeFootball.com that will give fans the power to create personalised videos, photos and information that puts them on center stage at the world cup.
Fans can then take this personalised content to build their own Facebook campaign in an attempt to get noticed and selected for “The Chance” which is an elite Nike Academy football camp that is scouted by the English Premier League.
This will be a huge campaign, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it is exclusively rolled out through Facebook, YouTube and China’s QQ from tomorrow by Wieden + Kennedy.
