Nike is doing something a little different with projection mapping for the new Jordan Melo M8 shoe, this time throwing in water, in fact the whole thing is projected onto water fountains, which perfectly complement the movement and desired effects to create something pretty special for your eyes…
Sure, there isn’t any interactivity as we’ve seen of late, but the water really changes the game!
Hey Adam,
There was some interactivity, albeit minor and not with the fountains. People who played ‘Pop-a-Shot’ had their name projected and could watch their score change on the giant pier.

Thanks Phil
Beautiful execution but the same projection mapping technique was done way back in 2008…

Great piece of art! I just love, when advertising get’s so engaging.
Those water projections are pretty cool visuals
Pretty impressive digital effects, but how sad that so much fuss is made over one man who can shoot hoops.
Water projections are pretty awesome. If you are ever in Singapore check out the Marina Bay Sands show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6ywuqGoogg
Did Obscura in SF do this?? If not, very, very similar to their work! Awsome stuff.
by Klip Collective. We have water projections going up this week for the Olympics. Stay tuned…
