This is a pretty cool way to get an unofficial project noticed! When you’ve seen just about every type of projection mapping event or installation over the last two years, it’s something just a little different like this that catches your eye, as I’m sure it will do the brand managers over at New Balance.
Generally we see buildings and walls as the base of a projection mapping installation, then there was a shake up with the Toyota projection mapped car and now this, a very cool little projection mapping demo of a New Balance shoe. It was created by Hayoung Jung. (via Bas on Blogilvy)

I thought this was going to be poor, especially when the first 10 seconds was of the back of a guy’s head, but actually this is one of the cooler projection mapping things of seen. I preferred it to the Toyota one, without doubt.
