Here’s an interesting app that’s just been launched in Australia today. TrackMyMacca’s is a world first for McDonald’s as it takes Australians ‘behind the scenes’ of their meal, showing them where their food has come from.
This app uses technology that accesses McDonald’s supply-chain and augmented reality to deliver interactive information about McDonald’s food. It’s a nice way to get customers to interact with the brand and to let them find out more about the produce used in Macca’s meals. It’s always good to see brands integrating their products and experiences in the offline world with online technology. What do you think?
