I laughed when I first watched this new viral campaign from Hi-Tec. Maybe it was just the South African accent or perhaps it’s the entire documentary style viral video promoting a water proof line of clothing, shoes and accessories that are supposedly so water repellent that you can literally run on water with them, after some training ofcourse!

As a South African I don’t find our accent funny in any way. This is a genuinely funny, laugh out loud idea. It would be funny with any accent. Even a Finnish accent. Well maybe that’s pushing it.
