It was only a matter of time before Lego released something like this and it’s pretty cool! LEGO and Google Chrome have joined forces to create Build, the largest LEGO set the world has ever seen, online on a Google map. The video above is one of the ads for Build and shows the Sydney Harbour Bridge being created.
Build allows users to construct a world of 3D LEGO creations online anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, publish it and share with friends. Users simply choose a plot of land on the LEGO Google map and start building. The launch coincides with the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick in Australia and there are plans to roll this out globally later via Google Chrome. I’ve had a play and it’s pretty good. Check it out for yourself buildwithchrome.com. Great work from the guys at Mark.
