And they’ve outdone themselves… This haunting Johnnie Walker spec ad explores the “Your Brothers Keeper” concept in a highly emotional state, delivering perhaps once of the most outstanding lines of the year.
The brothers walk the foggy terrain of Scotland’s Isle of Skye, the childhood home, as a voiceover poetically unwinds their stories and connection. It plays right into a whole “Freedom” play, as they climb large rocky hills and watch over beautiful views to the mountains, before they finally end up in a scrapped farmhouse, drinking Johnnie Walker together, before continuing on to the cliff-edge overlooking the sea. WOW. What an amazing piece of spec work!
