There have been whispers for a while on this one, but Sean Parker’s new startup venture is now live, it’s called AirTime, and comes complete with a new $25m round of funding to kick it off. So what the hell is AirTime? Well, lets not kid ourselves, it’s like Chat Roulette for Facebook…
AirTime aims to bring excitement back to the internet by connecting people you’ve never met, but share all the same interests according to your Facebook profile… Where you grew up, where you live, your likes, interests, favourite movies and even what you are listening to on Spotify!
Pretty sweet idea here, love the random hook up thing but wonder how many awkward Air-time silences will come out of it!
Lasted less than 3 seconds on Airtime: the obese, panting version of Ice T was not who i expected to paired with based on mutual interests….
