It’s no wonder that Hyper Island is the world’s leading school for digital creatives when they are producing work like this. Students were tasked with connecting a streetwear brand to music & art as part of the advanced interface design module.
Through that creative process, they produced a digital window installation where people passing by would control a virtual model in the window with a series of motion tracking sensors that stop, play and rewind a hi-res super slow motion video in real time, allowing potential customers to experience product in a new and innovative way from the street. Very cool project.

Well nice little interactive installation but I think we could have done with seeing some genuine audience reaction. Not one passerby looked like they weren’t in on the act.
