
We are already seeing that this year is going to be an exciting one for brands to embrace social commerce with smart, innovative campaigns. Brands are moving towards integrating physical and online stores into the consumer’s shopping experience to leverage the ‘social consumer’ who shops with social intelligence using their social graph. This infographic from Get Satisfaction is an interesting look at the evolution of the social consumer.
It’s interesting to see the change that social media is bringing to consumer behaviour and how this is leading to an evolution of consumer engagement with brands. Do you have any good examples of which brands are doing this well so far?

What an excellent break down of some otherwise (at times) subjective data. Took me a while to grip their graphic language but the Gartner quotes at the bottom really speak for themselves. Great find, cheers Katy!

Lovely post Katy, i like how everything was broken down which made things more simpler and easier to understand. It also made it more interesting to read too with the diagrams
