This goes close to being the weirdest case study video I’ve seen, regardless, it’s a good example of leveraging multiple communities to amplify hype around new product releases. This was probably always going to be easy, with the launch of Halo 4 set to be the biggest game release of the year, it wasn’t going to take too much to blow up the internet around the game launch, but it did have to be done well… Wunderman Seattle sliced the box art up into 32 pieces and seeded them across an array of the most popular fan communities and challenged them to solve the puzzle.
