There is a village so quiet in the Graubünden region of Switzerland, that when the single public telephone in the village square rings, the entire village hears it and the village of Tschlin proved that with this pretty weird (and almost fun!) promotional campaign to showcase the town in a Tourism campaign that reminds you of ‘The Swedish Number‘…
Jung von Matt/Limmat hosted a six-day long promo in Tschlin, inviting people from around the world to call the village-square telephone, where each time a resident failed to pick up the phone, the caller would win a Graubünden vacation. I’m still trying to workout how the got the entire town to continually (day and night!) run for the phone?!
