If you weren’t in Cannes this year or just didn’t get a chance to make it to the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase, then you missed out on a pretty cool experience, and that’s not just because there was some great film shown, but because the audience became the experiment in 2014.

Each person in the crowd was given a wrist band embedded with sensors and a multi-colour LED light that changes colours based on a users reaction to the content being displayed on screen, meanwhile everyones data was being analysed in real-time beside the screens so the audience could see how everyone else was feeling! Note – I did get a weird mark for a few days from my band’s sensor! Pretty cool, and just as weird given the medical lab opening feel too.
