A week ago you would have seen my post about “A Life On Facebook“, which was a seriously cool short film (that looks to have been removed!), so here is the next best thing from Bouygues Telecom in France, a Facebook App that lets you create a physical book, of your Facebook life.
DDB teamed up with Perfect Fools to create this app as part of a campaign that celebrated the launch of Bouygues Telecom’s Facebook Platform. After ticking a few boxes and selecting your desired date range, you were able to create and have printed, a physical Facebook book of your life. Great idea and great execution. Would love to know how many physical books were created!

Would love a book of my friends Daily Horoscopes and Farmville updates . . . NOT !
Paper waste. Not so creative.
What a beautiful idea! Great 21st present or something too.
Indeed a great idea but…
It’s a shame that it never happend.
The company created a facebook page and invited users to an event.
They promised the 200 first users that clicks “attending” a free book.
The event never happend, the books were promised and never arrived…
On the company website there is no informations about the book.
Message to Bouygues:
If you don’t know how to do Viral, d’ont do it.
It may do more damages than anything eles.
Dear DigitalBuzz team;
Many thanks for sharing this beautiful post.
I tried looking for the application but couldn’t locate it on Bouygues Telecom Facebook Group. Can you please advise where we can find it and try it?
Best regards.

No wonder Mark Zuckerberg did not make this.
