There is an easy way to get great PR. Do something different, but these days in the digital world it’s pretty hard, a lot of what is currently “possible today” has already been done, and the good ideas, done to death. But this interesting Google Maps mashup (launched as a supposed ”hack in google maps”) got some serious traction, not from being original, but by doing it where your audience want something seemingly special.

The Editors launched the mashup to promote their new album, it lets your explore the streets of London where they have taken inspiration for their latest album from. You’ll also be treated to some exclusive content with images and track samples unlocked as you browse the Google Street View mashup on their website. Click here to check out the site.
