Doritos-Asylum-626
After the succes of the Hotel 626 campaign, Doritos has launched a new online experience, the Asylum 626. The Campaign is created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and produced by B-Reel. The new website is still scary and divided into stages where you have goals to meet and puzzles to unravel. You can interact via microphones and webcams to live the experience more realistic and the integration with Facebook and Twitter is a good addition. The scenes are very quickly cut and manage to scare even the toughest players fear.

You can check out the Asylum 626 website or watch the trailer. If you want to play the game in during the day time you can change the clock on your computer and try again.

Great site. Definitely an engaging experience. Has a great mix of high post-production mixed with new web services such as Facebook Connect, Twitter Authorisation and the often unused Flash web-cam.

I would have loved to see more integration with facebook photos throughout the trailer part, utilising not only my photo albums, but also friends albums too.

The Facebook auto-publish was a nice faeture too, but I think it stressed my girlfriend out when it said that “I need help at Asylum626″

Doritos are definitely leading the way in the online campaign stakes.

hey, kevin. I think you don’t appreciate it because they must have been missing something while you’re viewing asylum626. Just like you did not turn off your lights, you did not have a camera where you can see your face in the faucet or something like that. Man, I really scared of this one. Just the seconds of the intro give me goosebumps. Maybe you’re not a scare-seeker. Maybe try going to an asylum place, where you can get creepy friends there. All right.
