Disney Research Labs has been working on some pretty cool tech that might well create the future of colouring in books, where live texturing of 3D Augmented Reality Characters becomes a possibility as kids around the world colour in on paper.

With this, Disney have developed a “deformable” surface tracking method that uses a new outlier rejection algorithm for real-time tracking and surface modelling… Which in turn, creates what you see above! Pretty cool. Expect to see an entirely new Disney Augmented Reality App out soon!
