Australia’s world cup soccer bid is heating up ahead of the official submissions in 2010. Starting with a very cool (viral?) video showing people playing soccer across the country in all sorts of beautiful places. This is the first of many great campaign elements to help Australia win the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup Events! Wanna Come Play?

That video has been done before. Not the same technology, but Mexico 86 World Cup had the same idea and concept. Here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5PuBVARfeM&feature=related

And also I remember a Nike commercial for the 94 World Cup where different international players appear on distinctive buildings of their country.

Nice way to get them marketed.
