This is probably the first real viral video that’s come out of Chat Roulette. A guy named Merton creates a mix of free-style piano, singing and comedy all wrapped into one funny video from Chat Roulette. So far, it’s had over 1.3 million views on YouTube in less than a week. I think the take out from this video will be that people from around the world (and indeed plenty of brands/agencies) will start to see Chat Roulette as a prime opportunity to ride the hype and create a random video to get their 15 minutes of fame, and a few million YouTube visits!

Oh, I forgot to mention Merton said there will be a series of videos to come, so stay tuned for a little more entertainment thanks to the weirdos that inhabit Chat Roulette!

Mildly amusing. But niche, can’t see many brands utilising this. That said, look forward to seeing the giffgaff work…
