Here’s a nice idea from Sydney agency Reborn that pairs two of life’s greats – coffee and art. In a campaign for kitchen equipment brand Breville they created ‘The Naked Espresso’.

Using physical computing they traced the coffee as it was being brewed, meausuring flow rate, pressure and temperature to create a live visualisation, resulting in an individual piece of data visualisation art. The visuals were then printed out and attached onto the coffee cup. While it’s not ground breaking technology it is a something new and you can’t complain when the result is visually pleasing and tastes of coffee. Nice find Mark.
