(#update – the vimeo video is not working, so I’ve switched to the MSN video) We’ve been seeing some innovative rich media campaigns on YouTube over the last 12 months, including this new one for Braquo, a new crime TV series in France where they take over the entire page, bringing as many elements as possible into frame and disrupting them to create a level of engagement. This one isn’t nearly as good as the Warrioland experience, still the original and the best ever YouTube campaign, but the one on MSN is

looking pretty slick too. Probably a little more engaging than the YouTube execution. A great campaign all round… Expensive, but hugely effective. (via Martina on Adverblog)

Speaking with a few of the guys at YouTube and unfortunately I don’t think we’ll see another execution like the Wario Land on their platform. Although everyone had a heap of fun making it happen, it was a massive drain on resources.

I’m sure if someone has the right execution (and enough cash), they could twist there arm though ;)
