At the risk of sounding (blogging?) like a broken record, here is another amazing 3D projection mapping installation (so I hope you don’t mind!), this time from BMW in Singapore. The first thing that really stands out with this installation is that it’s set across two separate buildings and an intersection, probably the very first projection mapping installation to sync two projections together, and the effect is simply beautiful, innovative and hugely engaging from any angle.
What I really love is the animated sync between buildings to really accentuate the message and impact of the creative itself. The 3D elements are strong when used, but sparingly placed throughout the experience, and in my mind, just not quite as amazing as the Samsung 3D Projection Mapping installation, however, it’s still one of the most innovative I’ve seen.

Not as good as the Samsung one and the 80s graphics didn’t really help!
I know its probably a hi tech effort but sorry it looked very low tech to me.
On the topic of Samsung I think they’ve also done 3d proj mapping in Asia

Both the Samsung projection in Amsterdam and the BMW projection in Singapore were done by NuFormer Projection. More examples can be found on http://vimeo.com/nuformer/videos

Is not a bad projection…but they don´t do much use of the building, and that is the main aim of projection mapping.
I´ve done a new projection with Seeper for the Autostad aniversary, check it out here:
