It’s been 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, and to celebrate a German paper called the “Berliner Morgenpost” has launched an interactive experience to educate us about the entire event. It contains animations, interviews, photos and 3D interactive elements to tell the story… Shame it’s not in English though, because I can’t understand a word of it!
But it looks great, the content is rich and the site very well executed from a design and development perspective. If you are German, I hope you’ll take the time to write a comment! Hopefully they translate in the coming weeks. Click here to check it out. (via Martina on Adverblog)

Hi everyone,
i just took a look at the homepage and as I am german I think this is a fantastic way to educate people about one of the greatest moments in german history – and yes there were quite more unpleasent things as well.
The site offers richt content of everything which is needed to understand the situation, including chronology, an interactive tour at the wall, background information and comments of witnesses. As I was born in eastern Germany and left to western Germany before the wall went down this was probably the most emotional moment in my life. Overall a great site. I hope they will translate it in English.
