TEDxAuckland has presented us with BabyX. A virtual baby, represented by a 3D face on a screen, powered by artificial intelligence, that is able to interact with the world around her via a suite of sensors, allowing BabyX mimic the actions and interactions of a real life baby.

Fibre optic cables light up to represent the nervous system as people attending TEDx walk past and interact with BabyX in real time. BabyX is the brainchild of New Zealander Mark Sagar.
