This is an awe inspiring stop motion piece created with origami (and a little CGI) to help tell the ASICS brand story to the world in memory of company founder Kihachiro Onitsuka. Not only is the story magical, but the stop motion origami is just amazing and everyone agrees. Created by Nordpol + Hamburg, it won a Grand Prix at the Eurobest, gold at the New York festival, gold at the London International Awards, silver at the Clio in Miami and two times bronze at ADC Germany!

Completely agree Claus, a fantastic piece of animation that is undoubtedly very cool! However I’m not sure that I’d choose to spend my marketing budget on a cool viral, having said that, deciding how to allocate budgets in order to create successful promotion can be extremely difficult! http://bit.ly/9R1oRM

I must say this is one of the finest BRAND history pieces I have every seen. Creative and awe inspiring. It creates the “Lovemark” feeling about the brand made popular by CEO Kevin Roberts at Saatchi & Saatchi. Awesome work.
