I thought everyone might like this! We were testing a street view app this afternoon and stumbled upon this interesting little “update” to Google Street View. Even though there is a lot of talk about how Google made some pretty heavy comments about Apple in their latest keynote presentation at Google I/O, and every second person is talking about how the relationship is souring, we noticed that the Apple Store in Sydney still seems to be getting some special treatment from Google Street View!
On approach heading North or South on George Street in Sydney, you’ll see a building under construction, but when you get in front of it, you’ll suddenly see it changes to be the perfectly finished Apple Store! Ok, so this was probably done prior to the current round of insults, but I wonder what other companies can pull that kind favour!
