These sorts of fashion videos are generally all the same. But this time, Adidas Originals have made it slightly interactive, not over the top, but just enough to give it a bit of an edge over your standard fashion showcase video. The ability to click and slide the video to the next section was pretty cool and the simple product feature on each scene creates some great interaction with the product, but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of information showed once clicked!
I get the product highlighted, the name and nothing else. I can’t even click through to an Adidas Originals landing page for that product, see a price or anything… So where’s the lead gen?!
I’d love to know what everyone thinks? Check out the full experience here.

The idea might be executed nicely if the UX would not suck so badly.
Nice look’n'feel. But I completely agree that the integration with sales could be better. I mean this is like a digital shop – why not push it more. Take for instance this demo from an interactive Nike ad, where you can buy the product that is displayed in the film with just one click.

Christian, exactly!
Thanks for the comments guys
indeed – why would you watch it if you weren’t interested in the products? If you read a style mag, it’ll tell you where you can buy and for how much…
