Next up, IKEA 3D projection mapped living rooms… Ok, so it’s not from IKEA just yet, but I’d be expecting to see them doing something like this pretty soon after the huge amount of exposure that the Mr Beam guys have received over this 360 Degree Projection Mapped Living Room.
It’s actually kinda exciting to think that a mainstream-ish technology in 3D projection mapping, could very soon be bringing you an immersive, interactive in store experience that would give you the ability to see every colour, texture and matching accessory change in the flesh, in real time. What do you guys think? Is projection mapping still just an event experience or does it have real potential? Nice find from Bas over at Blogilvy.

How is this interactive? Just projecting onto 3D materials is hardly new or unique.
