It’s interesting to think about what a million Facebook fans might really mean to a brand, of course, that will change from brand to brand in itself, but it’s great to see the “Million Fan Thankyou” trend emerging of late, and to give you an example, here are two videos. The first from Heineken, who sent out a hug team in Amsterdam the day they reached the big one million. Meanwhile, Porsche created a specific car covered in everyone of the million Facebook Fans… Do you know of any other 1 Million Fan Celebrations? (via Rocco on Adverblog)

Dutch airline KLM did a nice twist on this yesterday as well with a whiteboard filled with the names of fans who liked a specific post: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150093949495773&set=a.378259560772.168963.273795515772&comments
If i hadn’t seen the facebook ‘like’ logo on the girls shirts, this could have easily been made in the 80s – and that isn’t a compliment.
